Blind River

Formed at the start of 2017, Blind River are a 5-piece, heavy rock band, created to bring classic, pure, riff-driven song writing to the fore.

Having become friends while travelling across the UK and Europe as members of touring bands such as Godsized, The Earls Of Mars and Pig Iron, the band have brought together the experience and expertise gained from hard work and determination, to give birth to this foot-stomping, fist-raising, rock n roll experience.

The band have been steadily growing a dedicated fan base using the tried and tested method of constantly playing every sweatbox bar and beer soaked venue they could find, writing and fine tuning their songs in front of an ever-increasing audience as they went.

This work ethic led to appearances at Bloodstock Festival, Desertfest, Metal Brew Festival, Hard Rock Hell Festival, and supports for the likes of Grand Magus, Voodoo Six and Warrior Soul during an unprecedented first year in existence.

Their method of test-driving material on the road has created one of the tightest live bands on the circuit, resulting in a 4 day recording session at Middle Farm Studios where the band recorded, mixed and mastered a complete 10 track album with producer Peter Miles.

After the album release in 2018, the band went on to tour with Inglorious, City Of Thieves and Marco Mendoza as well as having support slots for The Supersuckers, Anvil, Bonafide, Hawklords, Massive Wagons, Hogjaw, Tony Wright, and many more.

The band‘s 2018 debut release received a 9/10 album review in July’s Powerplay Magazine, going one better in 2020 with a 10/10 review for the follow up album “Made Of Dirt”. Full page interviews have appeared in both Powerplay and Classic Rock Magazine.

Their song “Freedom Dealer” was included on the Classic Rock Magazine “Best of 2018” covermount CD alongside Slash, Joe Bonamassa, Phil Campbell & The Bastard Sons and Clutch.

In 2019 Blind River continued performing across the UK, test-driving new material during live performances that included Ramblin’ Man Fair and a repeat appearance on the Sophie Lancaster Stage at Bloodstock Open Air.

This year has seen Blind River release their second full-length album “Made Of Dirt”. Recorded in just 4 days at The Old Chapel Studio, Chichester the album was made available across all platforms on May 25th 2020.

Skypilot

3 piece Groove laden rock from Northern Ireland!

Born in 2002, Skypilot have been following their own distinct path through the past 15 yrs. Drawing their influences from a wide and varied collection of bands and genres SKYPILOT simply play what feels right, making them notoriously hard to pigeon hole into any one area of the rock music spectrum.

This approach has served them well so far. Numerous Irish tours have come and gone with bands such as END OF LEVEL BOSS, FIREBIRD, GENTLEMANS PISTOLS and SUNS OF THUNDER. Full UK tours with fellow NI band STAND-UP GUY saw SKYPILOT cement their reputation on the mainland and win new fans wherever they played. More high profile gigs followed with the like of BRANT BJORK AND THE BROS, PLANET OF ZEUS and the mighty CORROSION OF CONFORMITY.

And to open the bill the home grown Yorkshire rock talent that is LOZ CAMPBELL.

There’s gonna be some good rockin’ on this Tuesday night…
