Hailing from the dub citadel that is Leeds, a city synonymous with legendary pillars of the UK roots and culture scene like Ras Natural, Bunnington Judah, Sub Dub and, his own camp, Iration Steppas, Sammy is a bona fide veteran of the sound system scene and has played his part in all stages of the birth, growth and rise of the now global and flourishing roots & dub movement.

Regularly playing across the UK and Europe, Sammy Dread comes to York to fling down some vibes.
