‘Full on joyous psych-rock with a jazzy grin and a prog vibration which runs through their veins like musical haemoglobin.’
Prole Jazz

Leeds’ prog-jazz-psych-funk champions Shaku are are back with a vengeance with heaps of new material. After forming in 2017 and years of relentless gigging, supporting the likes of The Headhunters, Henge and Too Many Zoos, they finally delivered their much anticipated debut album “Maku” in February 2020 with a packed headline show at Leeds’ Brudenell Social Club followed by a UK tour.

Fusing prog-jazz-rock sounds of the past with prog-jazz-rock sounds of the future, they love the music of Zappa, Gong, Caravan and Parliament/Funkadelic and weave these influences together into their own unique sound they call “Frog Rock”.

Joshua Zero is an artist whose time has undoubtedly came. Zero has developed a delightfully shiny nü rock sound, coupled with a distinct stage presence that’s seamlessly developed from cutting their teeth on sticky floors of Leeds’s music venues.

Quantitative Teasing are a York trio who have formed for the sole purpose of rescuing us from the economic shitshow we currently find ourselves in.
