Celebrating 8 years since we opened the venue! We’re once again celebrating with have a special Crescent Community Disco, this time joined by special guest Aroop Roy. 

Aroop Roy is a London-based DJ, producer and label head, who’s been tearing apart festivals like We Out Here recently, with epic marathon sets, and back to backs with the likes of Mr Scruff, who highly recommended him for The Crescent dancefloor! He blends together the electronic edge of House, Disco and broken beat with the soulful sounds of Afro, Latin, Funk and Jazz. One look at this guys monstrous back catalogue of edits, remixes and originals shows that this is a guy who knows his bag inside and out.

Pillow Queens + Adwaith

Pillow Queens are a four piece based in Dublin, Ireland. Formed in 2016, their State of the State EP caught the ear of Steve Lamacq who called the band’s songs “deceptively infectious, with sharp hooks and sharp nails”. That EP’s lead single, Favourite, with its accompanying dog-filled video, received airplay on BBC Radio 1, BBC Introducing, Radio X, and Amazing Radio as well as across Irish national radio stations. Two UK tours followed, along with a brace of sellout hometown shows in Dublin.
