From York to Hollywood and back again, Twinnie has filled her time thoroughly. From acting in Hollyoaks, staring in major theatre productions, appearing in various US films and embarking on a singing career that’s seen repeat performances at Country2Country and seen her playlisted on Radio 2. This very short UK tour celebrates the release of her debut album ‘Hollywood Gypsy’.

Funding success!!!

We’re delighted to announce that alongside some of York’s other venues and cultural organisations, we were successful in our application to the Cultural Recovery Fund! This money will enable us to reopen safely, and survive till next Spring. We’ve got some fun plans in the meanwhile, but want to wait and see how the news develops over the next couple of weeks. As well as ACE and DCMS, we want to thank everyone who’s been supporting us, our incredible team and staff, as well as the musicians, engineers, and creatives who helped make our venue what it is.

Los Bitchos

Los Bitchos started off as a recording project after listening to a lot of Peruvian instrumental Cumbia from the 60s and 70s (Los Destellos ‘A Patricia’ is the song that got them together as a band), their sound can be described as The Shadows on a Tequila fuelled field trip to South America, whilst also channeling psychedelic rock and surf vibes.
