The Family Ruin

One of York’s most beloved metal bands The Family Ruin dominated the local scene throughout the late 2000s and 2010s as well as touring worldwide, including the USA extensively with Asking Alexandria, Chelsea Grin, Doyle (The Misfits), Escape The Fate, Bless The Fall, Mushroomhead and more.

And they’re returning for a special one-off reunion show, celebrating the life and legacy of bassist Josh Adamson.

Formed in 2007 as theFALLEN, their high-energy sound and relentless drive earned them a deal with KBB Records, leading to the release of their 2014 debut album, Dearly Departed.

Josh’s passing in 2024 left a lasting impact on the rock and metal community, but his passion and influence will never fade. This show is more than just a reunion—it’s a powerful tribute to Josh, the music, and the scene he helped build.

Last words to the band, “With over 20 years of music spanning theFALLEN, The Family Ruin and beyond, this night will be a celebration of the songs, the memories, and the community that brought us all together”.

All profits will be donated to Menfulness, supporting men’s mental health and wellbeing.
