The Crescent Community Venue is a fully licensed bar, concert and events venue. A former Working Men’s Club, it has a long history of community spirit and musical entertainment spanning over 100 years, and since re-opening has rapidly developed into a key component of York’s music and cultural life.

DJ Booth & 2kW sound system
Games room with free Pool table, dartboard, bar billiards, retro computer games. (Unfortunately the Games Room is not wheelchair accessible yet)
300 capacity concert room with:
Large stage
Professional 6kW sound system & lighting
Industry standard live and DJ equipment
Separate bar and toilets
Wooden dancefloor
Standing, seated and cabaret options
Local real ale on cask and in bottles
Standard opening hours:
Monday – Thursday – 4 pm – 12 am
Friday & Saturday – 4 pm – 1 am
Sunday – 4 pm – 12 pm (depending on events)

Monday – Dominoes
Tuesday – Retro Gaming
Wednesday – Open Decks (anything goes on Vinyl, CD, USB or Laptop, all welcome)
Thursday – Dominoes , Bar Billiards
We are 5 minutes walk from the rail station and nearby many bus stops. There is parking available at nearby pay and display car parks.
