Join us in celebrating a decade of Explore York Library and Archives with an evening of live music right in the heart of the city at the iconic York Explore library! This special event isn’t just about music; it’s about community, culture, and supporting our libraries.
All proceeds from the event will go towards supporting Explore’s ongoing mission to enrich lives, inspiring all ages to discover, explore and connect with the world around them.

Hailing from York, Bull is a dynamic 5-piece band that has been making waves since 2014. Founded by vocalist and songwriter Tom Beer and guitarist Dan Lucas, Bull draws inspiration from 90’s icons like Pavement, Yo La Tengo, and the Pixies. Their sound is a blend of indie rock with infectious energy, captivating audiences both locally and internationally.
Joined by drummer Tom Gabbatiss, bassist Kai West, and keyboardist/vocalist Holly Beer, Bull has shared stages with renowned acts such as Pavement, Squid, and Pip Blom. Their music and live performances showcase their eclectic style, featuring catchy melodies and thought-provoking lyrics. You don’t want to miss this!
