‘Honest, beautiful and and bewitching… A triumph’
Background Magazine

Luna Rossa bring their stunning 21st Century Acoustica to York this November, as part of a major UK Tour to promote their new studio album.

Luna Rossa are Anne-Marie Helder and Jonathan Edwards – the same Award-Winning songwriting team behind the epic rock anthems of Panic Room.

The group originally began life as a ‘little sister’ project… A chilled-out side room, where the duo could express their more intimate & acoustic ideas. But since the huge critical success of their debut album in 2013 – ‘Sleeping Pills & Lullabies’ – Luna Rossa have exceeded all expectations by blossoming into one of the most popular, exciting and highly-respected groups on the international Acoustic scene today.

With their vibrant mix of classic instrumentation – piano, guitar, celtic harp and voice – plus 21st Century loops, rhythms and samples, the music of Luna Rossa is unique and mesmerising.

Autumn 2018 will see the release of their hotly-anticipated 3rd album; and to celebrate this, the group will hit the road with their biggest ever UK Tour.

This very special show at the Crescent Club will be Luna Rossa’s first  ever performance in York, and it will include the live debut of their shimmering new music, alongside many favourite songs from their first 2 Award-Winning albums.

…A candelit and spectacular night, not to be missed!

Luna Rossa will be joined on stage by special guest Sarah Dean (- Celtic Harp & harmony vocals).

‘Not rock, not folk, not jazz, but inhabiting a hushed, bruised & wonderful world somewhere in-between.’
