King No-One come back to their Hometown for two big shows at the intimate Crescent. Saturday’s show will be part of their tour, and the following night will be a throwback to all the King No-One classics and past York shows that have been so special and started the band’s success.

We’re extremely pleased to welcome back Kristin Hersh to The Crescent. Definite indie rock royalty, fronting her bands Throwing Muses and 50 Foot Wave. She’s back with her band featuring Fred Abong, bass player from Throwing Muses and Rob Ahlers, drummer of 50 Foot Wave. These electric trio shows are loud, tight and intense, featuring material from across Kristin’s thirty-year career.
Hailing from the West Coast of Scotland and playing honest, straight-up, blue-collar, folk-infused rock’n’roll, Peat & Diesel have made friends the world over in a short time. This is their York debut and we can’t wait.
