The closing party of York Mediale will be another club show hosted once more by Ouroboros and Bad Chapel, this time with Joy Orbison aka Joy O, a week on from our party with Pearson Sound.

Joy O burst on the scene in 2009 with the now seminal track Hyph Mngo, and since then has headlined festivals, Berghain, Warehouse Project and catapulted to having a reputation as one of the best DJ’s and selectors in the uk underground scene. Diverse sets often include house, techno, UK funky, garage and jungle. As a producer, tracks like BRTHDJTT, Mercy and Ellipsis have rarely left record bags, whilst his labels Hinge Finger, Doldrums and SunkLo consistently push forward thinking electronic music.
