Parker Lee launch their debut album, “if you’re not serious, don’t say it” at the Crescent with a little help from their friends. Indie rock, post-punk, alt-folk genius and an ex-Soul Candy/Black Box DJ to follow – we’ve got what you need, baybee.

Parker Lee //
Parker Lee are a garbageshop quartet that write rock songs for day-to-day catharsis, tying up lyrical themes of self-indulgence and primal fears into a neat little package of good old-fashioned drive and math influences. They’re having a party!

Jerry //
Jerry are a yes-wave post-gospel 4 piece from York/London.
In the last year they have played with DUDS, False Heads, Rapid Tan, Bull, Blue Bendy, Ugly, Haze, Her’s, Trudy and the Romance, Autobahn, The Staches, Tugboat Captain, Wyldest, zsa zsa sapien, Lassie and more.

Their debut release ‘Late Hugh’ was BBC introducing’s ‘Track of the Week’ and has since been featured on their ‘best of 2018′ playlist. They have been featured on Donut Records’ ‘Gold, Frankenstein and Gurr…’ playlist, Indie Underground’s ‘bands to watch in 2019’ page and in issue 6 of Some Might Say magazine, being described as ‘an immense thrill to watch on stage. They have a feral roughness to them, blistering, incisive, fuzzy punk played in a meticulous yet wild manner’.
They have studio-recorded a 4-track EP ‘Ordinary Type’ that is being released on the 1st May, with single ‘Foreign Exchange’ set to be premiered on Peggy’s World via Boogaloo Radio and featured on Donut Records’ Spring compilation.

Nicolas Lewis //
Nicolas Lewis is a songwriter and guitarist whose work is a culmination of his rich musical past which ranges from theatre to Brazilian choro. His songwriting fuses the intricate fingerstyle from his classical roots and the atmosphere of his later electronic experimentation to create an immersive listening experience and songs that are both subtle and emotionally impactful. He has been likened to Sun Kil Moon, Radiohead, Imogen Heap, & The National amongst others.

LIVE BANDS FOLLOWED BY BOOTS DJ SET – ex Soul Candy / BlackBox //
I don’t know what Nick’s gonna play, but it’s gonna be sick.
