Lewis Bennett is a music producer and DJ from Doncaster, currently making waves in the reggae music scene. An independent artist and producer, Bennett has made a name for himself with his unique blend of traditional roots reggae and modern dub elements, often incorporating Spanish Flamenco guitar into his music to create his signature sound.

He is also the founder of Burning Bug Records, a label dedicated to his distinctive sound and vision within the roots reggae genre. Bennett is not only a prolific producer but also an engaging live performer. His shows are known for their vibrant energy and spiritual atmosphere; this time on the newly built Burning Bug Sound System; which will be making its first public appearance at Irie Vibes, we are honoured!

His influence extends beyond his own music, he actively promotes reggae and dubwise music and culture through his popular 24/7 Reggae radio station on YouTube, providing a platform for both his music and other reggae / dub artists. Lewis is considered to be part of the next generation of producers and artists by long term fans of roots reggae and steppas, and has an extensive discography of original productions featuring prominent artists such as The Viceroys, Chazbo, Sista Oona, Prince David, Ras Tinny, Indra MC and many more.

On top of all that he makes clips and how-to videos of his new productions which can be watched on Instagram: @lewisbennettdub and also has a YouTube series called Rootsbus where he links up with another reggae artist in his VW bus and records a performance with them.
