The founder and leader of The Wildhearts, our hero first had a couple of years with The Quireboys in the late 80s and then New York band The Throbs. Since then the no-nonsense dreadlocked national treasure Geordie has also released numerous solo albums and many other musical projects

A natural entertainer always in possession of an earthy grit, yet warming, witty and enjoyable. But there’s always that edge which makes him and his music what it is. You wouldn’t want it any other way…
