Cyclist Alex Dowsett launches the paperback of his acclaimed autobiography, Bloody Minded, in this special night at the Crescent. Alex will be looking back on his 13 years as a pro cyclist in which he won stages of the Giro d’Italia, held the World Hour Record and raced with and against Bradley Wiggins, Chris Froome, Mark Cavendish and Lance Armstrong.
As well as showing us the golden age of British cycling from the inside, Alex will be sharing the challenges he has faced as the only top sportsperson in the world with haemophilia A, a condition in which falls can be fatal and which both blighted his young sporting life, and boosted his determination to succeed.
The first 25 tickets are £12 or £22 including a copy of the paperback (RRP: £12.99).
Regular tickets are £15, £10 concessions or £25 including a copy of the paperback . *All prices include all booking fees.
