Christmas is around the corner and we’re starting the festivities early with a double headline show featuring firm friends and party legends: Chimpo and DJ Barely Legal!!
These two are known for their extremely eclectic sets covering all aspects of UK dance music culture and its influences. Expect everything from drum&bass, jungle and old skool to dubstep, grime and garage to hiphop, dancehall and trap… and everything in between. Expert blends, seamless mixes and broken dancefloors are how these two roll!
All on the best sound in town, cheapest venue for drinks and nicest atmosphere in the dance! Residents in support: Yesed, The Yorkshire Tea Party, Yenz and Dissent plus special guests.

Chimpo started mixing tunes at a very early age and is now regarded as a pioneer and innovator in the scene, having worked with some of the biggest and brightest talents in many different genres; Zed Bias, Calibre, Dub Phizix, Skeptical, Big Narstie, Footsie & Trigga all count as collaborators. He has released music on seminal labels such as Exit Records, Metalheadz, Critical, Sidestepper & Soul;r. He is an integral member of the genre defying Manchester-based crew LEVELZ. Not content with being a animal just behind the decks and in the studio he’s also sick on the mic!
Barely Legal aka Chloe Robinson grew up with UK garage developing an early interest thanks to her bass loving mum. She was quickly noticed once she started mixing by none other than Chimpo! Not long after, her mixes were being broadcast on Rinse FM and BBC 1Xtra. Her DJing style and selection with influences from many different genres rapidly took her from the airwaves to the stage where she continues to play the biggest clubs and festivals in the world. She now also runs her own record label Pretty Weird Records. Keep an eye on this one!
