American singer-songwriter & guitarist Jesca Hoop has released nine albums since 2007 including three which are stripped back re-recordings of previous releases.

In October Jesca releases Selective Memory, an acoustic reworking of the 2017 album Memories Are Now.

Born in California and singing throughout her childhood, she writing and recording her own material seriously after encouragement from Tom Waits whom she worked for as a nanny! Her debut album Kismet was released in 2007, and a year later relocated to Manchester.

Jesca has toured supporting Mark Knopfler, Elbow, Placebo, EELS, Shuggie Otis, Iron & Wine, Andrew Bird and Punch Brothers, she released an album of duets with Iron & Wine’s Sam Beam.
