Lifelong Motörhead fan Rob Campbell (Rickenbastard & vocals) captures the essence of Lemmy in voice, stage clothes and that grinding mid-range bass sound. No wonder this band all but sold out York last time.
MOTORHEADACHE are one top class authentic tribute to forty years of Motorhead. Expect lots of Fast Eddie Clarke-era tunes ’75 – ’82 including Ace of Spades / Bomber / Overkill / Iron Fist / The Hammer / Damage Case and the thunderous Motörhead.
Plus ’83 to 2015; Brian Robertson’s stint and the ’84 re-launch with Wurzel and Phil Campbell. And finally, the longstanding Lemmy, Phil Campbell and Mikkey Dee era from 1995 to 2015 – Killed by Death / In the Name of Tragedy / Sacrifice / Ramones / Burner and Victory or Die.
Rob plays a custom built Rickenbastard made By Lemmy’s own luthier, fitted with the pickups and tuners removed from Lemmy’s own Rickenbastard. With custom Lemmy ‘Murder One’ Marshall Super Bass amp wired to Lemmy’s spec and four Marshall cabs. Bloody hell…
Support from The Hazy Janes.
