We’re very pleased to welcome young York singer-songwriter Ned Swarbrick (and a couple of bandmates) to The Crescent for the first time for a special seated headline show.
Switching seamlessly between Belle & Sebastian-esque pop numbers and intimate folk tunes more reminiscent of Nick Drake. He describes his music as melancholy, upbeat, sad, happy, tongue in cheek and serious.

Rowan & Friends
Rowan Evans was born in Coventry. Since then, he moved to York and formed his band: Rowan and Friends. Their monthly sessions – crammed into the corner of the Golden Ball pub – quickly gained a cult status. His band is formed of long-time collaborators Ollie Howland, Adam Holmes, and Tom Gabbatiss, as well as new members Tom Burgess and Dan Lucas. They are all stalwarts of the York music scene, having played with scene favourites Bull, Perspex, and The Howl and The Hum.
