plantfood have been performing across the UK since May 2021, shaking up venues in Leeds, on top of sharing their music with the rest of the country in places like London, Manchester, Sheffield and more! Embracing the fusion of afrobeat, jazz and dance music, there’s no point providing seats at a plantfood gig!

In collaboration with record label/music collective Moma Cat Discos, plantfood have released two well received singles since the summer of 2021, the dancefloor jazz mashup of “Monstera” and their synth-drenched rendition of “Favourite Things”, attracting the attention of heavy hitters TC & The Groove Family/Worm Discs and gaining recognition from Ronnie Scott’s lead promoter, Paul Pace. Collaboration is one of the main themes with plantfood, with their live shows often featuring multiple guests including rapper/vocalists India Newland and Yasmina Nahas (aka The Sunkissed Child). plantfood are bringing the heat to a venue near you this autumn, with their UK tour to celebrate the release of their debut EP, a live session recorded from their own living room!
