For the last 10 years Soma Crew have performed and released music that is hypnotic, pulse-driven and lyrically expressive. Engaging the mind and body, the repeated rhythmic motifs of drums and bass contrast with wild and vivid guitar soundscapes.

Though their musical influences may be drawn from the previous five decades, the feelings and stories expressed through their songs are grounded in the contemporary. The band have driving, motorik energy, a happy reliance on repetition and contrasting tempos. At once personal and expansive, Soma Crew’s songs address the experience of engaging with a chaotic and uncertain world, inevitably reflecting on the state of living under viral skies.

With three albums, a mini-album and EP already under their belt, the band are still going strong with a new album in production and no plans slow down for the next ten years….!
