The Countess of Fife is an Alt Country outfit led by legendary Rezillos’ frontwoman Fay Fife.
Urban grit combined with a touch of punk and soulful, tender melodies, takes the alt country genre to warped frontiers of previously unheard terrain. Fay’s authentic, original lyrics, mellifluous vocals and stage presence combine in an unholy alchemy of alt country, punk and a touch of gospel. These are mature songs about life, sadness and badness, hope and spirituality.
