BombSquad present Totally Hammered, an unconventional charity art auction. Amid a cost of living crisis, Totally Hammered brings together artists from the street and contemporary art worlds to raise urgently-needed funds for York Food Bank.

We’ve managed to coax Time Out award winning comedian turned writer Danielle Ward out of stage retirement to host the event. (*We told her Banksy was going to there.)

Her writing credits include BRASSIC, MONGRELS, NOT GOING OUT, and Idris Elba’s IN THE LONG RUN. Her TV & Radio appearances include MOCK THE WEEK, CHARLIE BROOKER’S NEWSWIPE & THE NEWS QUIZ. Danielle is also the host and creator of two podcasts, the Sony Award winning DO THE RIGHT THING and ANY STUPID QUESTIONS and was the bass player in Welsh indie band THE LOVES from 2004-2010.

The event will commence at 7pm, and there will be a full bar, raffle, live street-art demonstrations, DJs and an exhibition of all of the auction lots to keep people entertained before the auction commences.

Everyone who attends the event will be automatically entered into an audience raffle with a chance to walk away with pieces by Banksy, Grayson Perry, Sweet Toof, Rowdy and many other fantastic prizes.

We have partnered with Tennant’s, a Yorkshire-based auction house that will host the online timed auction for the event on their website https://www.tennants.co.uk

We’ve already amassed an impressive roster of artists’ works that have been pledged to the auction, including:
