York’s plant swap event, created by houseplant lovers, for houseplant lovers. A chance to socialise with other people who are passionate about plants.

The focus of this not-for-profit event is on all things HOUSEPLANT! Bring along your baby indoor plants, rooted cuttings and houseplant swaps to exchange for new plants. Here’s what you need to know:

– All plants must be healthy and free of pest or disease.

– Label your plants with both the plant’s name and your name.

– Bring as many plants to swap as you like but think about variety for your fellow houseplant lovers!

– On arrival, plants to swap will be checked in and exchanged for plant tokens. These will then be used to trade for new plants during the swap.

– The first hour will be all about checking your plants in, meeting other plant lovers and chatting about, well…..plants? The swap and prize draw will take place during the second hour.

Every ticket for the event will be entered into the prize draw. There will be multiple prizes to be won on the day. Proceeds from ticket sales will be donated to Edible York. There will be a full bar, coffees and teas available at the Crescent Community Venue. Doors open at 13:00.
