This is a unique opportunity to celebrate Yorkshire Day in the heart of York by enjoying the company of fellow Yorkshire-ites.

This is a great event for those over 18 and looking for a night of friendly chit chat and performances of Music, Poetry, Folk Tales, Theatre and a bit more.

Didn’t know that Yorkshire had a Day of celebration?

Yorkshire Day is celebrated on the 1st August (we know we’re a little early!) and was founded by the Yorkshire Ridings Society in 1974 as a way to defiantly celebrate the county’s history and heritages. Come to Yorkshire Day: A Night of Arts to learn more about Yorkshire Day.

Have a wonderful evening celebrating Yorkshire Day with other Yorkshire folk (Disclaimer: those adopted by Yorkshire are also welcome!). Enjoy original art, writing and dancing that will ensure you have a fabulous night. We will also have some book and art sales (this is where your change comes in handy!)

Tickets are £8 in advance and maybe more on the door.
Doors will open at 7pm for a 7.30 start, get in early to browse the stalls!
Programmes will be available for purchase at £1.50 on the night, which will contain information about the History of Yorkshire Day and our performers and sellers.
