Following on from their success at the Crescent last year with the New York Brass Band, in 2024 the York Railway Institute Band will collaborate with the fabulous York Music Forum Jazz Ensemble – led by Ian Chalk – to present an evening of quirky, jazz-infused music.

At last! The long-awaited comeback of Crescent Cabaret, an evening of top class musical comedy variety in a true working men’s club style.

The Mouse Outfit are a Hip Hop production team and live band from Manchester. They  They are back on tour in 2022 performing DJ sets/Soundsystem gigs with MCs and  shows with their full 8 piece live band. They will be fronted by MCs Koj and Ayite with special guests at selected locations.

Although incredible purveyor of Afrofuturism, Kweku aka K.O.G , has been to the Crescent as part of other projects like KOG & The Zongo Brigade and Onipa, this will be his first time alongside his own extended band. Support from Afrodesia, who played alongside Alogte Oho earlier in the year as well as at the Bishy Road Street Party. Expect fierce raps with political messages alongside Afrobeat, Hi Life and jazzy licks.

Award winning writer, comedian and actor Rob Auton brings his latest show ‘The Eyes Open and Shut Show’ to the Crescent in March.
