York Guitar Studio Student Concert
Local Music Teaching Hero Pete Mitchell brings his large and diverse gang of students to the Crescent for their annual showcase. Big Band 106
From cabaret Jazz to 70s’ Funk and everything in between, Big Band 106 are doing it all. A 20-piece jazz ensemble featuring some of the University of York’s finest musicians playing a large variety of charts from Earth, Wind and Fire to Glenn Miller, a wide range of music for all to enjoy.
Herbal Mafia: Halogenix
We’re straight back into it with the legendary HALOGENIX gracing the decks for the first time in York. Expect the deep, dark, rolling tech vibes with tonnes of sub bass. One third of Ivy Lab and signed to Critical Sound, Metalheadz and 1985 Music. This guy is a production don, plus he absolutely shells when’s he’s in the mix. TC & The Groove Family
TC & The Groove Family are a 11-piece collective whose music celebrates the coming together of cultures, and the community that music can provide for everyone. Originally formed in Leeds, their sound reflects the diverse musical and cultural backgrounds at the core of the project, with songs exploring grooves and genres from the UK and around the world, including afrobeat, broken beat, jungle, jazz and grime.
