Burning Duck Comedy – Kiri Pritchard McLean: Home Truths – *SOLD OUT*
It’s been a big few years for most of us and Kiri is no different. She’s moved back to her home island of Anglesey, struggled with lockdown and got herself some rescue chickens. You can expect jokes about skinny jeans, learning Welsh and white supremacy – something for everyone.
YĪN YĪN + Soma Crew
YĪN YĪN is a jam-packed romp of South East Asian psych pop, funk, disco grooves and electronic music. The project was conceived by Kees Berkers and Yves Lennertz, two familiar faces in the Maastricht underground scene. Debut LP ‘The Rabbit That Hunts Tigers’ represents the full breadth of the quartet’s respective record collections, unleashed with maximum joy and spirit. And just so you know, these guys are never too shy to give the odd nod to a bona fide pop classic.
York Blues Festival 2022
York Blues Festival returns for a third celebration at The Crescent in York. The two previous events have sold out waaaaaay in advance so don’t hang around if you want to come, particularly looking at the line-up they have for us!
EXTC
The band of XTC’s Terry Chambers, supported and blessed by XTC’s Andy Partridge and Dave Gregory.
With hits including Making Plans for Nigel, Senses Working Overtime and Sgt Rock (Is Going to Help Me), XTC was one of the UK’s most exciting and influential bands. But as the band’s success snowballed and the tours grew (including globe-trotting spells with The Police and Talking Heads) XTC main man, Andy Partridge, pulled the plug on touring making XTC a purely studio-based entity.
Slop Em Up + Vanbrugh House Band
A jazz, soul & funk party featuring a couple of young university bands in York, DJs and good times in true Ouroboros fashion.
Ostrich Beats Launch Party!
Our first Ostrich Beats event, hosted and curated by Ola Szmidt, will be bringing an eclectic mix of techno, electro, drum & bass, garage, ambient and experimental music in support of MAP Charity.
She Drew The Gun + Annabel Allum + Marnie Glum – *SOLD OUT*

As She Drew The Gun, the Wirral-based singer-songwriter has spent the last seven years cementing her reputation as a vital voice in the alternative scene, using punk-infused psych-pop as a vehicle for exposing injustice and for advocating for a fairer and more tolerant society.
