At the end of February, 8 members of NYBB will fly out to Rio to spend 10 days working with Favela Brass. They will take with them a stock of new instruments and Stu our sax player take his repair kit from his workshop. The Sunday afternoon family gig at The Crescent on 9th February is a fundraiser for Favela Brass.

His strange stories unfold with reckless abandon upon an idiosyncratic Guitar and Foot Tambourine accompaniment, influenced as much by the avant-garde as music from the middle ages and his home place in rural Ireland.

Blues-rocker Oli Brown returns to The Crescent with his band. They’ve previously toured with John Mayall, Walter Trout and Robben Ford amongst others.
