Brooks Williams hails from Statesboro, Georgia, he’s a mean finger-picker and a stunning slide guitarist with a beautiful voice. Not one easy to pigeon-hole, Brooks’ music is the love-child of country-blues and Americana.

“The best live band I have seen all summer” – BBC 6Music Presenter Gideon Coe
Roddy Woomble (Idlewild) + Tom Joshua
Having toured the world as frontman of Scottish Indie giants, Idlewild, acclaimed songwriter Roddy Woomble recently released his fifth solo album ‘The Deluder’. Straddling the indie-folk of his homeland and the more riffy noise of his acclaimed band, the album was a triumph and has once again shown Roddy to be an adept genre-hopper.
Hello Operator
A great bill of four young bands to rock yer socks off in this pre-Christmas Northern Radar promoted Christmas party headlined by returning York heroes Hello Operator.
Dr Phil Hammond
A real doctor with an axe to grind; black comedy with a political edge. Phil Hammond is a GP, writer, broadcaster and possibly the only comedian to have appeared at a public inquiry. He is Private Eye’s medical correspondent and has appeared on Have I Got News for You, The News Quiz, The Now Show and Countdown. He is rude about everything (politicians, doctors, death, drugs, sex, himself) but in a funny way. Free swabs and sick notes for all.
