The Langan Band – *At The Black Swan Folk Club* – *SOLD OUT*
Ayrshire-born John Langan fronts the trio with intricate fiery guitar rhythms and witheringly sweet and scathing vocals. On upright bass, Angus-born Dave Tunstall and the trio is completed by Alastair Caplin, a classically trained violinist equally discerning in both the London Prog-Folk/Jazz scenes and the blistering traditional reels and jigs of his native Outer Hebrides.

Hailing from the Isle of Skye, the legendary Scottish trailblazers have created a glorious mixture of traditional sounds and dance-floor grooves that have been embraced worldwide. Drawing upon a dazzling myriad of influences from jigs and reels through Dance Music, Jazz, African, and more, they bring the sound of Scotland fresh-faced and breathless to the new audiences around the world.

Millie Wright’s Children’s Charity is committed to addressing inequalities in hands-on charitable support for families looking after children with life threatening conditions. Based at LGI, they are working towards providing practical and emotional support to parents and carers via Family Support Workers.

Founding DMW member Kirk Brandon (Spear of Destiny/Theatre of Hate) will once again be joined by heralded rhythm section Segs and Ruffy from The Ruts on acoustic bass, percussion and vocals, completing the line up Jake Burns, legendary frontman of Stiff Little Fingers, will also be bringing his guitar, songs, and stories.
