Can you believe it’s been a whole 9 years since we took over this beautiful space! We’ve decided to invite back one of our favourite past guests to celebrate, Horse Meat Disco! A legendary queer night from London with over 20 years of parties to their name, playing all flavours of disco. Support comes from Crescent regulars, Jono, Alilou, Chompy Ras (Carlos) and a disco debut for Mike Jones.

Irie Vibes: Inspirational Sound
As part of our 15th birthday celebrations over the next few months, we are honoured to have some very special guests joining us:
Bradford’s dub defenders INSPIRATIONAL SOUND; also celebrating an amazing 25 years in the scene will be bringing the crew, including singers and MC’s: Richie Ranks, Dan Man and D.Bo General – responsible for the vocals on one of the biggest jungle tunes ever released: Some Justice ’95 aka ‘The Arsonist’.
Support from the Irie Vibes DJs and MCs, playing all manner of roots, reggae and dub; with jungle to finish!

Following on from their success at the Crescent last year with the New York Brass Band, in 2024 the York Railway Institute Band will collaborate with the fabulous York Music Forum Jazz Ensemble – led by Ian Chalk – to present an evening of quirky, jazz-infused music.
