1980’s alternative pop band China Crisis have been getting rave reviews for their recent live shows and we’re delighted to welcome them to York in September.
Formed in Kirkby in 1979 by songwriting duo Gary Daly and Eddie Lundon, their evocative synth-pop/new wave sound shone alongside their Liverpudlian contemporaries OMD, A Flock Of Seagulls and Teardrop Explodes.

Dreadzone

Dreadzone have been releasing albums and progressively bettering, refining and perfecting their own unique and inimitable take on dub since their inception in 1993. Nine is the ninth official studio album, due for release in October.
Nine welcomes the next phase of Dread with nine songs about redemption and division, love and loss and journeys inside, and around the earth. The album treads into new territories but still connects with the ambience of early Dreadzone albums.
