British virtuoso blues-rock guitarist, former pro British virtuoso blues-rock guitarist, former pro MMA fighter and hard rock frontman Kris Barras launches an exciting new musical collective that takes him back to his blues rock roots. We’re delighted to welcome old-time banjo and fi We’re delighted to welcome old-time banjo and fiddle duo @nora.brwn & @stephiecoleman to York for the first time in November. Nora Brown is the “brightest young star in old-time music” (Songlines), playing traditional music focused on southern Appalachian banjo and guitar. Stephanie is a master old-time fiddler, having recorded with and toured internationally over the last two decades with celebrated artists including trailblazing all-women string band Uncle Earl. 1980’s indie-pop outfit The Primitives are comin 1980’s indie-pop outfit The Primitives are coming to play for us in November! The band released three albums of gently psychedelic fuzzy guitar pop and post-punk at the time, including monster hit ‘Crash’.
