The Turbans & Flatcap Carnival
The Turbans are an international musical collective that combine traditional, Near-Eastern and Eastern-European styles with original compositions, to create modern and energetic performances that remain faithful to their ancient roots. Support comes from local legends Flatcap Carnival. Perfect gig to dust off your dancing shoes for!

Snazzback & Awen Ensemble
Bristol based Snazzback are one of the latest bands to emerge of the flourishing UK jazz scene, reinterpreting jazz for the dancefloor. Fusing influences as far as hip hop, electronics and funk, they have drawn comparisons to the likes of Shabaka Hutchings, Ezra Collective, Moses Boyd and Portico Quartet. Support comes from upcoming Leeds based Awen Ensemble.

Dele Sosimi Afrobeat Orchestra
Original afrobeat from the source! Dele was keys player for Fela Kuti, Egypt 80, Tony Allen and Seun Kuti, an impeccable career that has now blossomed into Dele becoming the ‘Afrobeat Ambassador’ for the UK. Last time he played here it was a 2 hour marathon set that had sweat dripping from all the dancing! If you’ve never experienced the raw funk and joy of a proper Afrobeat show, do not miss!

Les Filles de Illighadad
Les Filles de Illighadad are the first ever female fronted Tuareg band to emerge from the scene of North African Desert Blues. Their music draws from two distinct styles of regional sound, ancient village choral chants and desert guitar. The result is a groundbreaking new direction for Tuareg folk music and a sound that resonates far outside of their village.

The Haggis Horns + DJ Mr Green
A full live show from legendary Leeds funk outfit The Haggis Horns, who have been at the forefront of UK Funk for over a decade. Warming up your toes early is the original host of Mr Green’s Onion Club. PROPER FUNK!

Nubiyan Twist, are a blend of virtuosic players, skilled producers and inspired composers join forces to create a unique, infectious sound drawing on jazz, hip-hop, afrobeat, latin, soul, reggae and dance music. Formed in Leeds over a decade ago, they have now taken the world by storm with their electric live shows and unique fusion of styles.

Children of Zeus
Children of Zeus is a Soul project from two of Manchester’s most respected artists Konny Kon & Tyler Daley. Konny Kon is a DJ, MC and beatmaker best known as one third of Broke’N’English alongside fellow Mancunians DRS and Strategy. Tyler Daley, also known as Hoodman went from being a respected MC and actor to one of the most in demand soul singers of recent times, lending his vocals and writing credits to music from Goldie, LSB, Soul II Soul‘s Caron Wheeler, Lenzman, Lisa Mafia, Bugsy Malone, and more.
