It’s a jewel in the dirt by the side of the highway; ten songs which slide effortlessly between lovelorn country, lo-fi folk and glistening, unforgettable pop. It’s fabulous and we’re very pleased to be able to host this intimate show.

The remarkable rise of award winning trio The Trials of Cato on the UK folk-scene has been the subject of massive critical attention. Dubbed “The Sex Pistols of folk,” (J Davis) they pay clear homage to the tradition whilst twisting old bones into something febrile and modern, with stomping tunes and captivating stories.

Three accomplished musicians in their own right, Celtic Connections Danny Kyle Award winning guitarist, banjo-player and singer Bella Gaffney, clawhammer banjo player and singer Kate Griffin and acclaimed fiddle-player and tunesmith Holly Brandon draw on their wide-ranging influences to create a unique blend of transatlantic folk. This all-female trio is already establishing a fearsome reputation for their glittering live shows, onstage rapport and genre-busting original and traditional material.

On the third floor of an abandoned textile mill to the north of Preston, a wave of strange musical beauty is blossoming. Brought up on the sounds of nearby Manchester – think New Order and The Smiths et al – White Flowers, made up of Katie Drew and Joey Cobb, make gloriously gothic Lynchian pop music that’s as ambiguous as it is beautiful and exciting.

We’re chuffed to welcome London post-punks Shame for a very intimate socially distanced, seated show as they celebrate the release of their second album Drunk Tank Pink.

Lloyd is back on the road with his latest stand up tour. It’s been a busy few years for Grimsby’s favourite (for now, anyway) comedian/choirboy. He’s recently been supporting Jack Whitehall on tour, and you may have also seen him in on 8 out of 10 cats (Channel 4), Jonathan Ross’ Comedy Club (ITV), Ted Lasso (Apple TV), Can You Beat The Bookies?
