What better to drag you through a cold-snap than some tinkling bells and songs about dragons. Well we have some!
Tickets are zooming out this week for our show with Mostly Autumn. They’re celebrating being asked to perform at the Classic Rock Society awards next month plus a forthcoming summer of prodigious festival slots including appearances at Ramblin’ Man Fair, HRH Festival in Wales and Artrock Festival in Reichenberg. This intimate York show is only a month away and you can find tickets over here.
We recently advertised an intimate solo show from Spock’s Beard frontman Neal Morse. Neal has a new album on it’s way from which you can hear JoAnna here. Think Neal might be in love, bless him. Limited tickets for his seated show on June 19th here.
As if all that madness isn’t sufficient, former CAN vocalist Damo Suzuki makes a long awaited return to York in May with the band itself being made up from some of York’s finest musicians. We’ve been enjoying the video below of late…kraut-y!
Finally there’s a fairly epic looking celebration of the life and inspiration of local drummer Howard Sparnenn here on April 29th. The bands performing include a reformation gig from one of Howard’s old bands Flight, plus Mostly Autumn, Smart Move, Freeway and Rocket3. It’s only a tenner and it’s all in aid of Brain Tumour Research.
